Transformational Coach Training for a World in Transition

Something essential is shifting in the world, and many of us can feel it.

In institutions, in families, in organizations, and communities, the old ways of relating, leading, and navigating uncertainty are no longer sufficient. There is a sense of being between stories. Between systems. Between selves. This space is not simply uncomfortable; it is unfamiliar, unformed, and often disorienting. And yet, it is precisely here that transformation becomes possible.

At Newfield Network, this space is acknowledged and embraced. It is where our flagship offering, Coaching for Personal and Professional Mastery (CPPM), begins. This nine-month transformational coach training program invites participants into a comprehensive, relational, and embodied exploration of what it means to lead, to listen, and to be human at this time in history.

Why a New Kind of Learning Is Needed

In their recent reflections on the CPPM program, two of our senior facilitators, Alexander and Veronica Love, described the broader cultural context with clarity: The current social narrative isn’t working. Information alone is not enough. We have unlimited access to knowledge, yet we remain disconnected from one another, from purpose, and from ourselves.

This coach training program begins with an invitation: to explore what it means to be human and how to “human better.” This inquiry is not about fixing ourselves, but about recovering the depth, dignity, and relational intelligence that is already within us. Through this kind of learning, coaching becomes more than a professional skill—it becomes a pathway for personal and collective evolution.

Ontological Coach Training: Studying the Structure of Being

Newfield’s approach is grounded in ontological coaching principles, which center on the study of being and becoming. Unlike coaching models that focus primarily on behavior modification and action plans, ontological coaching works with the foundational ways we see and interpret the world.

Participants in the program learn to observe and shift these underlying structures. They discover how the stories we tell, the moods we live in, and the embodied habits we carry shape our actions, behaviors, and relationships.

Rather than offering scripts or tactics, the training cultivates deep self-awareness and relational presence. Coaches learn not just to support others, but to continually develop themselves as responsive, embodied, and ethical practitioners.

Embodied Leadership in Practice

Throughout the Newfield program, participants are invited to reconnect with their embodied presence. This begins with noticing how we sit, how we speak, how we listen, and how we respond. These subtleties shape how others experience us and how we experience ourselves. As coaches, this form of attention builds trust and steadiness. As leaders, it helps us stay grounded when navigating complexity, ambiguity, and uncertainty.

As participants deepen their awareness, they strengthen their capacity to lead from within. Leadership becomes an expression of presence, awareness, and care. This way of being supports more generative conversations, deeper trust, and more sustainable action across all areas of life.

Transformation Through Community

One of the core insights of the Newfield approach is that transformation is not a solo endeavor. It happens in community.

Participants in the CPPM program engage with a cohort of fellow learners over nine months. This structure is intentional. It allows for relationships to deepen, trust to grow, and insight to emerge over time. The learning is dialogic, relational, and alive.

In this collective environment, participants encounter a diverse range of perspectives, identities, and histories. They learn to listen beyond agreement or disagreement. They learn to be with others in a way that honors complexity and difference—essential skills for anyone pursuing a path of coaching or leadership today.

The community becomes a mirror, a support system, and a source of ongoing growth that ripples outward, shaping teams, families, organizations, and wider systems.

Many graduates share that the relationships built during the program continue long after it ends. These connections serve as reminders that learning does not stop at graduation. Instead, it continues through ongoing alumni dialogues and community.

Aligned with Professional Coaching Standards

Newfield’s Coaching for Personal and Professional Mastery – CPPM program goes beyond personal and relational learning—it’s also fully grounded in the highest professional standards of the coaching field. As an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Level 2 accredited program, it equips participants not only with deep personal insights but also with the training, tools, and support required to pursue an ICF credential such as the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) or Professional Certified Coach (PCC).

Throughout the program, learners receive structured mentor coaching, personalized feedback, and guidance on navigating the ICF credentialing pathway. This professional foundation ensures that the ontological distinctions at the heart of Newfield’s approach are both profoundly transformative and globally recognized as rigorous, practical, and credible.

Coaching as a Lifelong Path

Coaching Certification is the beginning of a lifelong path of development. This is why Newfield offers advanced training and many free alumni events to support our thriving alumni community. Transforming this world is a collective endeavor. The profession of coaching is always evolving, and together we help shape it to meet the pain, confusion, and conflicts of our times. “Together” is the keyword here, as we cannot make the lasting change we need without each other. We need a community of peers dedicated to lifelong learning, where the collective itself, and all those in it, become the teachers in our lives.

A Closing Invitation

If you feel the dissonance between how things are and how they could be, you are not alone. Many who come to Newfield feel called to something deeper—something that cannot be reduced to quick fixes or performance goals.

The CPPM  program is for those willing to look inward and learn new life-changing distinctions, tools, and practices. It is for those ready to move beyond the surface and into a deeper, more connected way of being in the world. From this inner transformation, we become equipped to help others.

We invite you to step into that possibility.
