Alumni Serve

True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost.Arthur Ashe

Be a Room Assistant

Did you know you can experience the magic of the Newfield as a conference assistant?

If you are an alumnus of the Coaching for Personal and Professional Mastery (CPPM) program, then you are eligible to be an Alumni Conference Assistant (ACA) in one of its conference intensives: the Foundation Course (6 days), Coaching Intensive (6 days), or the CPPM closing Intensive (3 days). Many of our ACAs commit to all three conferences for the benefit of reviewing and the deep connection they experience with the new cohort.

As an Alumni Conference Assistant, you will be of service while receiving the benefit of re-immersing yourself in the learning, the joy of the “aha” moments, and expanding your Newfield family with a whole new cohort of participants

In exchange for your work, Newfield will waive the Alumni Re-Immersion tuition. The Alumni Re-Immersion program is for alumni who want to come back and review a ’la carte portions of the CPPM program. If you’re interested in being an Alumni Conference Assistant, please reach out to Linda Fischer at linda.fischer@newfieldnetwork.com.

Be a Panelist on Our Grad Panels

Throughout the year, we host multiple panel discussions with our graduates so they can share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences about Newfield’s programs and training, and how it has impacted their lives, both professionally and personally.

These panels are hosted for people new to Newfield who are considering joining our community. During the webinar, we invite attendees to ask our graduates any question they may have about Newfield. Being able to share your story that comes from your heart with the people on the webinar will be a gift to us all! If you’re interested in joining us and being a panelist, please reach out to Linda Fischer at linda.fischer@newfieldnetwork.com.

Learning in Action (LIA) Room Opener

The monthly LIA calls are alumni-led. This means that the discussion each month is focused on a topic generated by the group and that the conversation is organic. To facilitate this, one alumna volunteers to be the Room Opener for the session.

The Room Opener reads a prepared document that outlines the pillars for our conversation. These statements form the guidelines and act as a reminder. They were developed by the participants when the LIA calls began. The Room Opener also offers a centering, a breathing exercise or some other means of grounding the participants and engendering presence. Then, the Room Opener introduces the topics and facilitates the beginning of the conversation. Each month, we take turns taking on this enjoyable responsibility.
